Meet people.
Discover people with different experiences, skills and ambitions.
The Stage Africa Community Open Club is a monthly offline membership community bringing together like-minded Africans who believe that meaningful change begins when people come together, share ideas, support one another and act.
Across our countries and local chapters, Plus Members meet regularly to discuss the challenges affecting their communities, discover opportunities, build meaningful relationships and develop practical solutions together.
This is more than a networking event.
It is a community that thinks together, grows together and builds together.
Club atmosphere
It feels human — circles, small groups, spotlights, laughter — not a conference.
What is the Community Open Club?
It brings Stage Plus Members together in local communities for meaningful conversations, genuine relationships, peer support, collaboration and community action. Every Club meeting creates space to:
Discover people with different experiences, skills and ambitions.
Bring perspectives, questions and ideas into an open conversation.
Find people who can help you — and discover where you can help others.
Turn introductions into meaningful relationships and potential collaborations.
Explore real challenges facing our communities and identify practical responses.
Turn promising conversations into projects, initiatives and measurable community impact.

The Open Floor spirit
That means conversations are open, thoughtful and participatory.
There is a facilitator — but no single voice owns the room.
Members are encouraged to listen, question, contribute, challenge ideas respectfully and bring their own experiences to the table.
The objective isn't simply to have a good conversation.
The objective is to discover what we can do together.
What happens at a Club meeting?
Every chapter can shape its own experience, but Club meetings generally include:
A quick check-in on what members are building, experiencing, looking for or able to offer.
A facilitated conversation around a community, professional, social or African development issue.
Members get an opportunity to introduce themselves, their work, their ideas or something they are building.
Members intentionally connect around shared interests, skills, opportunities and needs.
Ideas begin to form into partnerships, teams and initiatives.
Members identify practical actions, projects or commitments that can continue beyond the meeting.
Members leave knowing what they intend to contribute before the next gathering.
The objective isn't simply to have a good conversation. The objective is to discover what we can do together.
Every chapter is different
The Stage Africa provides the Community Open Club framework. Our local chapter leaders bring it to life.
That means a Club meeting in Lagos may look different from one in Abuja, Accra, Kampala, Kigali or Dar es Salaam.
Each chapter determines

From conversation to community projects
Sometimes a Club conversation reveals a problem that members believe they can help solve. That's where an idea can become a project.
A Club can bring together members with the skills, experience and commitment required to develop community initiatives.
Members can form teams, recruit volunteers, establish milestones and work together toward measurable outcomes.
And when funding is genuinely required, a project may connect to an approved Stage Africa Impact Campaign or fundraiser.
We want the right conversations to become action.
Give and receive
The Community Open Club isn't built around what you can get. It's also about what you can contribute.
And you may have exactly what someone else needs. That's the power of community.
Who is it for?
The Community Open Club is for Stage Africa Plus Members who want more than an online membership. It is for people who want to:
You don't have to arrive with everything figured out. You simply need to be willing to participate, contribute and grow.

Explore upcoming gatheringsThe kind of community we are building
We believe communities become stronger when people stop asking only “What can I get?” and begin asking “What can we build together?”
The Community Open Club is a place for people who believe that progress is rarely achieved alone.
It is a place to meet.
A place to think.
A place to challenge ideas.
A place to support one another.
A place to build relationships.
And, when the opportunity comes, a place to roll up our sleeves and do something about the problems we have been discussing.
Ready to find your community?
Your next conversation could become your next project.
Your next project could create impact far beyond the people in the room.
Become a Stage Plus Member and take your place in the room.
